This is a bit OT but suspend2 hasn't had any fancy UI stuff in the kernel
for a long while now. But I've never tried patching suspend2 into the
linux-source packages provided by Debian so it is possible there is some
bad interaction between it and something Debian does but that's pretty
unlikely.

This I understand though, it would impossible to support the infinite
number of possible configurations, especially when they start incorporating
external patches like this bug filer.
