quick and late reply: deinstall lilo than update-initramfs does not have to check if eventualy lilo is managing your boot sector. ;) i hope to get rid of this check by the fact that lilo may never ship with lenny, if it does i'll rebase that check soon, but this doesn't have too high priority.. regards -- maks
