I tried running the new 2.6.18-2. I see an apparently endless stream
of messages saying:
Intel ISA PCIC probe: not found

Here is what appears in syslog

Oct  9 07:56:41 faerun last message repeated 73 times

Looking at past boots, it looks like I used to get this message
exactly once during a boot.

This bug is know to be fixed in 2.6.21. Platform devices does not longer
ask for themself.
