Thank you very much!
The workaround posted on the linked bug works flawlessly:
$ dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda5 bs=512 count=1

Now /lib/udev/vol_id -t /dev/sda5
/lib/udev/vol_id -t /dev/sda5 outputs «ext3» and boots again.

And now how has this bug to be closed?
INVALID, DUPLICATE or how?
