Bug#425072: Does not build macintosh options
Package: linux-source-2.6.21
Version: 2.6.21-1
Severity: important
--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
Building the kernel on a powerpc machine leads to a "semi-usable" kernel
because the macintosh specific modules are not built (e.g. pmu).
According to this message on the debian kernel mailing list
http://lists.debian.org/debian-kernel/2007/02/msg00602.html is a problem in
drivers/macintosh/Kconfig. Replacing "depends on PPC_MAC || PPC_CHRP || MAC"
by "depends on PPC_PMAC || PPC_CHRP || MAC" makes the kernel correctly build.
Sincerely,
Yannick
