Can you just set the allow_restart flag as discussed here: http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/FAQ/DealWithAutoSpinDownOnSeagateFreeAgent and it work just as well.. I've tried this, but i still am getting my USB hub dropping the drive, and allow it to reconnect. Not sure why its doing that yet.. but the disk seems to spin up when its needed now.. Evan
