Package: linux-image-2.6.20-1-686
Version: 2.6.20-1
Severity: normal

I run Debian sid on an external hard drive, which I then move between
machines and boot off it whereever I am able. I've not been able to boot
it with the 2.6.20 images showed up in Debian sid, so I am still using
2.6.18-4. The problem seems to be that the system does not wait for the
root device (/dev/sda1) before attempting to launch init. So, it drops
me into an initramfs prompt whenever booting a 2.6.20 image. I'd rather
not have to use 2.6.18 since it won't receive any updates in Debian sid.

I've been booting fine for a while, seems like a transitory bug or a bug
in another package or something that was fixed in 2.6.20-3.
