hello there,
i'm not sure if it's appropriate to address you directly, if so,
please excuse my indescretion.
i'm trying to get xen going on my server but due to my weird hardware
setup i can't work with stock kernels, since they usually have sata
and adaptec scsi stuff as modules and that makes the controllers fight
over the /dev/sd[a..z] nodes.
since 'apt-get source linux-image-2.6.18-4-xen-amd64' downloads a
2.6.18-kernel source and applies some patch to it. if i do 'make
menuconfig' on it, there are no xen options.
i was kind of hoping you could eventually give me a tip where to look.
i kind of hit a dead end here and all fiddling with the xen unstable
repository is driving me insane since for three weeks now i can't seem
to get it working.
