Bug#405270: Confirmation of bug 405270 on HP dv5137ea

Hello,

I can confim this bug on the laptop mentioned in the subject.

laptop:/home/kazm# dpkg -l | grep ipw3945
ii firmware-ipw3945 0.4
Binary firmware for IPW3945
ii ipw3945-modules-2.6-686 2.6.18-5
Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (ipw3945) driver
ii ipw3945-modules-2.6.18-4-686 2.6.18+1.1.3-5
Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (ipw3945) driver
ii ipw3945d 1.7.22-4
Binary userspace regulatory daemon for Intel

laptop:/home/kazm# uname -a
Linux laptop 2.6.18-4-686 #1 SMP Mon Mar 26 17:17:36 UTC 2007 i686
GNU/Linux

dmesg says the following:
ipw3945: Radio Frequency Kill Switch is On:
Kill switch must be turned off for wireless networking to work.

I am not sure, but i think the problem is related to the smp kernel -
another reporter also had an SMP kernel. I am running unstable using the
mirror ftp.dk.debian.org , and my system is completely updated as of
march 30.

Included is my entire dmesg. Hope this can help a bit.
