Bug#354082: please consider improving the description for etch

Any chance of movement on this year-old bug?

At the moment it's quite difficult for non-experts with a sempron to know what
to do. They have to do a fair bit of research. They might easily give up and
run a sub-optimal kernel.

These days there are two kinds of sempron. There are k7 semprons and k8
semprons. (Most of the latter are x86-64 capable). See, for example,
"http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K8/TYPE-Sempron 64.html"

Please consider changing the package description to something like:

"This package depends on the latest binary image for Linux kernel on 32bit
AMD Duron/Athlon/AthlonXP and early (Socket A) Sempron machines."

or even

"This package depends on the latest binary image for Linux kernel on 32bit
AMD Duron/Athlon/AthlonXP/Sempron machines. (This includes all Socket A
Semprons. Socket 754 and newer Semprons should try a k8 kernel.)

I'm sure you recall Policy 3.4: "The package description should describe the
package to a user (system administrator) who has never met it before so that
they have enough information to decide whether they want to install it".

Both types of sempron will be used quite a lot during the lifetime of etch.
It follows that getting this into etch would be ideal. Any chance?
