Re: Bug#369448: linux-image-2.6.16-2-powerpc: package fails to install
Hi,
Looking at the log, the error message said "OK, Aborting".
This phrase occurs twice in the preinst: the first time, when asking
for an OK to install an image with an initrd
template: linux-image-VERSION/preinst/bootloader-initrd-$version
The second time that phrase is emitted when asking for permission to
over write modules for a kernel image that already has been
installed.
template: "linux-image-VERSION/preinst/overwriting-modules-$version";
If the permission is not given while installing, the preinst
aborts. Is there a record of the debconf interaction while the
installation was occurring?
