Bug#370731: debian sparc framebuffer problem

Package: XWindows
Version: 2.4.27-3-sparc64-smp

hello all,

I seem to have a problem getting my framebuffer video card working with debian 2.4.27-3-sparc64-smp on sun sparc enterprise 2.

I ran "dpkg--reconfigure xserver-xfree86" and it succesfully detecting my fbdev device and I set the parameters, however clearly X won't start.

Any expert opinion would be appreciated.
