Package: linux-image-2.6.16-1-686
Version: 2.6.16-10
Severity: grave

After updating the linux-image (from 2.6.16-8 ?) on one of my systems
(PIII 700) the system do not boot anymore (rescue kernel still works),
and stops with a kernel panic message.

Sorry, I haven´t more information, I´ve no information on the screen, but
the grub menu is available and working. After selecting the kernel, I´ve
got only a black screen and nothing is happen anymore.
