i have installed debian sarge 3.1r0a with kernel 2.6 i686 default
sometimes, when booting, debian hangs while displaying the line "Restoring mixer settings: " which belongs to aumix.
i think it's a problem with the modules of the sound cards, not with aumix 2.8-15.
