This patch has already been signed off by the upstream ACPI maintainer.

The patch will fix a reboot problem I have on my Toshiba Satellite A40 
laptop with all 2.6.16 kernels since -1. The original bug was for a 
Toshiba Tecra M2, so multiple types of systems are affected.
