Bug#402253: linux-image-2.6.18-3-alpha-smp: i2c-elektor incorrectly marked as BROKEN_ON_SMP
Package: linux-image-2.6.18-3-alpha-smp
Version: 2.6.18-7
Severity: normal
Tags: patch
Back around the release of 2.6, i2c-elektor was marked as BROKEN_ON_SMP for use
of cli/sti: http://lkml.org/lkml/2003/8/26/239
At some point since then, the drive has been fixed, but it's still marked as
broken. As this is the i2c chip for UP2000+ dual Alpha systems, it would be nice
if it were enabled.
Thanks,
James Andrewartha
