Bug#390862: -bigmem version of xen kernels is really needed
severity 390862 important
thanks
Hello.
Currently, debian does not provide any xen kernel with pae enabled.
This forces to use xen hypervisor without pae support, which in turn makes
it impossible to use more than 3.5G of system RAM.
But the very idea of virtualization is to provide better usage of big
resources! And in current state debian makes it impossible (unles local
rebuilds, which is a pain, because of secury updates, etc).
So I'm raising severity of this bug.
Please fix it before etch, by providing pae versions of both -686 and -k7
kernel flavours.
