After a few hours of operation a server machine stops to answer the client calls to lockd

On the clients syslog reads

...
Nov 13 17:25:49 localhost kernel: lockd: server 192.168.0.99 not responding, timed out
...

On the server the lockd process entry from ps aux reads

root      4804  0.0  0.0      0     0 ?        D    Nov12   0:00 [lockd]

The exports for the filesystem have the options (rw,fsid=0,crossmnt,no_subtree_check)

The client machines are running nfs3 except one that is running nfs4

Since after near two weeks of operation the problem was not reproduced i am 
proposing to close the bug
