this is old use 2.6.18 from sid,
will just install fine on testing.

you didn't send dmesg nor lspci -vv output so those marketing numbers
are meaningless.
most probably you need i915 and it is loaded anyway, check lsmod.
also install udev if you haven't done yet, it will load the right
module for you.
