Bug#398353: It doesn't freeze on similar system with different video chipset

I didn't experinece this problem on a system with the same packages
installed but a different VGA chipset.

This are the versions for Xen-related packages:
ii libc6-xen 2.3.6.ds1-7
GNU C Library: Shared libraries [Xen version
ii linux-image-2.6.17-2-xen-686 2.6.17-9
Linux 2.6.17 image on PPro/Celeron/PII/PIII/
ii linux-modules-2.6.17-2-xen-686 2.6.17-9
Linux 2.6.17 modules on PPro/Celeron/PII/PII
ii xen-hypervisor-3.0-unstable-1-i386 3.0-unstable+hg11561-1
The Xen Hypervisor on i386-class
ii xen-linux-system-2.6.17-2-xen-686 2.6.17-9
XEN system with Linux 2.6.17 image on PPro/C
ii xen-utils-3.0-unstable-1 3.0-unstable+hg11561-1
XEN administrative tools
ii xen-utils-common 3.0.3-0-1
XEN administrative tools - common files

And this is the VGA info displayed by lspci:
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82915G/GV/910GL Express
Chipset Family Graphics Controller (rev 04)

I'm trying to install linux-image-2.6.17-2-686 on the computer that
had this problem to see wether it's due to Xen kernel or not.
