Package: kernel Version: 2.4.22 ppc I've noticed that the aic7xxx scsi fails no in this versions of the kernel (ppc), (the new one, the old was not selected by me). System hangs on startup. Removing aic7xx from configuration, and compiling makes everithing work ok (without any support for this scsi). Please confirm. PD: The nvidia framebuffer works ok now without any patch on a 733 Quicksilver, It seems a good kernel for the installation process.
