Bug#384987: linux-image-2.6.16-1-686: /boot files remain after purge

Package: linux-image-2.6.16-1-686
Severity: minor

Even though purged, some files remain.

# cd /boot
# ls *2.6*
System.map-2.6.16-1-686 config-2.6.16-1-k7 initrd.img-2.6.17-2-k7
System.map-2.6.16-1-k7 config-2.6.17-1-k7 vmlinuz-2.6.16-1-686
System.map-2.6.17-1-k7 config-2.6.17-2-k7 vmlinuz-2.6.16-1-k7
System.map-2.6.17-2-k7 initrd.img-2.6.16-1-k7 vmlinuz-2.6.17-1-k7
config-2.6.16-1-686 initrd.img-2.6.17-1-k7 vmlinuz-2.6.17-2-k7

# dpkg -l linux-image-2.6.16-1-686|tail -1
pn linux-image-2.6.16-1-686 <none> (no description available)

Perhaps the *686 files don't go away if one has the corresponding *k7
file there.

(I had installed *686 by mistake and then purged it.)
P.S., /usr/share/doc/linux-image-2.6.16-1-686 also remained
