No it is not, not by any means.  I don't know where you got that idea.

James's patch is just fine, and needed.  I'll add it to my trees in a
bit.

So, what does that have to do with this?  And actually, those binary
chunks have been there longer than three years, I think we are going on
6 or 7 for the ones under my control...
