fjp mentioned that d-i supports brltty,
which is an userspace daemon. seems like the better solution.
speakup patch has known security troubles.
so i should better shutup, before jumping in front.
the question came up when i got through the dropped 2.4 list of images.

also i'll ask first on d-accessability about the needs.
