reverting the klibc-utils resume usage for now - 0.73c,
i'd be interested in getting the initramfs-tools debug log of
the faulty boot to the klibc bug. 
please boot with "break=mount debug" and netcat the 
/tmp/initramfs.debug log to another box.

mine shows inverted usage, root on partition and lvm swap resume
partition and klibc-utils resume works fine here.
