Package: linux-image-2.6.16-2-686
Version: 2.6.16-17
Severity: normal

The swsusp with this kernel version (as opposed to 2.6.15-1-686
which I ran earlier) did not give me any information on the console
while doing suspend-to-disk or suspend-to-ram.

However, when I killed the klogd daemon and restarted it, then the
information came on the console as before.

I think this is a problem with the kernel rather than with klogd
or my settings because Everything Works :-) with 2.6.15-1-686.

Please let me know if (and how) I can investigate this further.

Thanks and regards,

Kapil.

good to know,
we won't release with 2.6.16 anyway.
