cat /proc/cmdline

lsmod

ls -l /dev/ida

can you please also send the
cat /etc/fstab
dpkg -l grub
dpkg -l udev
dpkg -l initramfs-tools

we have success records of ida boots with initramfs-tools,
without further infos i have no idea what your boot trouble might be.
