Package: linux-image-2.6.16-2-686
Severity: important

Upgrading from kernel 2.6.15 to 2.6.16 and X fails to start due to
"/dev/input/mouse0 not found" :-¿? I observe that nor /dev/psaux, nor
/dev/input/mice exist either. After rebooting and/or running
update-initramfs problem still remains :-¿? I have a USB logitech
cordless mouse that had no problems with earlier versions of 2.6
kernel (nor 2.4 kernels). When rebooting with kernel 2.6.15 all of
these devices were properly created. So now, I'm using kernel 2.6.15
as shipped by Debian Etch (linux-image-2.6.15-1-686 package).

Thanks a lot for your work! Tell me if I could be of help.
