Package: linux-image-2.6.12-1-sparc64
Version: 2.6.12-10
Severity: normal

The ALI5451 alsa module was not built with the kernel. The Sun Blade 150
utilizes this chipset onboard, so sound does not function without
attempting to compile alsa-source.

The configuration file for 2.6.15 (which should move to testing soon) has:
   CONFIG_SND_ALI5451=m

The driver was indeed not compiled as a module for 2.6.12.

Closing your report as the issue is already fixed for later kernel images.

Cheers,
FJP
