that's a segfault by run-init very late in the game,
last handoff to the real init. this is an klibc-utils
binary.
so it's definetly an klibc trouble on sparc.
please try to invoke directly some klibc binaries, like:
/usr/lib/klibc/bin/uname -a
do they segfault?
