Bug#330225: Can you confirm this is still an issue in 2.6.15-2 ?

-2 will be in this night, but i don't think it will make a difference.

Mmm, ok. Please try 2.6.15 though, since 64bit moved from ARCH=ppc64 to
ARCH=powerpc. In any case this will probably be most assuredly be fixed in
2.6.16 which reunifies the 32bit and 64bit ARCH trees. But please try out
2.6.15, we need to know if this is fixed there or not.
