Bug#346366: linux-2.6: linux-image-<flavour> should depend on a versionned linux-image-2.6-<flavour>

Package: linux-2.6
Severity: important

I noticed that bug on my parisc machine: I wanted to get the latest
linux-image-parisc-smp kernel from unstable, thus switched from testing
to unstable in my sources.list, apt-get update and then apt-get install
linux-image-parisc-smp. It installed linux-image-parisc-smp 2.6.15-1
*WITHOUT* installing the kernel version 2.6.15.

This is because linux-image-parisc-smp depends on
linux-image-2.6-parisc-smp without any version requirement, leading to
the following situation:

k2000:/# dpkg -l | grep linux-image
ii linux-image-2.6-parisc-smp 2.6.12-10 Linux kernel 2.6 image on multi-processor 32
ii linux-image-2.6.12-1-parisc-smp 2.6.12-10 Linux kernel 2.6.12 image on multi-processor
ii linux-image-parisc-smp 2.6.15-1 Linux kernel image on multi-processor 32-bit

I had to apt-get install linux-image-2.6-parisc-smp to fix the problem.

As far as I can tell, the description for linux-image-parisc-smp says
that it should depend on the *latest* binary image for Linux Kernel, and
I've just demonstrated this is not the case.

To date, this bug also affects linux-image-parisc64-smp, and i've
checked on my ppc boxes, linux-image-powerpc and friends are affected as
well. I believe all flavours suffer from that bug but I haven't
thoroughly checked that.
