It would be wonderful if you could include this patch in the
stock debian kernel:

It's the sensor chip contained in mini-ITX boards, among others,
providing temperature readings, etc.

The kernel packages provided by the kernel-team do not
include out of tree drivers, as it is too much of
a maintenice buden, and we would like to encourage
people to get their code accepted upstream. If 
this is not possible a kernel-patch package is
probably the best option.
