This could mean that cdrom-detect fails while scanning the CD (it loads
the directory structure in memory accelerating later accesses).
Do you see a progress bar that displays all directory names
under /pool/*/*?
If it does not fail there, it fails while determining the suite just
after.
Is there no error message anywhere?
