Bug#314954: bug still reproduceable

Hi!

I can still reproduce this bug. The strange thing is: sometimes it happens very often, sometimes I have no problems for several hours.

I have now disabled gpm, and since then, the workaround without unplugging the mouse is reduced to Strg + Alt + F1, Alt + F7. So it seems the mouse "restarts" when all its users stop reading it.

To repeat the important facts: Mouse device: /dev/input/mice, and I have second mouse, a touchpad, which continues to work when the Logitech mouse freezes.

As I have already written, someone else who doesn't use debian is also affected. Isn't this bug a good candidate to forward upstream?

Willi
