Bug#339327: linux-2.6: don't display lilo-related messages unless lilo is installed
Package: linux-2.6
Severity: minor
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
hi,
i sometimes get messages like the following:
The link /vmlinuz.old is a damaged link
Removing symbolic link vmlinuz.old
Unless you used the optional flag in lilo,
you may need to re-run lilo
The link /initrd.img.old is a damaged link
Removing symbolic link initrd.img.old
Unless you used the optional flag in lilo,
you may need to re-run lilo
a simple "which lilo" could probably determine
whether mentioning lilo were appropriate.
