At the cost of breaking the official kernel images ?

I don't care what happens to user built packages, i just want Manoj to not
break the official kernels. 

And yes, i believe that there is no reason why the kernel-source package built
by the user should not provide this symlink, or better yet the source symlink,
don't you think.
