do you mean the conclusion that it's legal for mount to accept 3-fields
lines? simple, I can mount and umount that fs with no problems and the
behaviour is the same as having 'defaults' as the only option.

Anyway the point I'm trying to make is that yaird is not an fstab syntax
checker and since mount accepts 3-fields only lines yaird shouldn't be
so picky about it. (Also, maybe I'm blind but I don't see any
specific usage for the opts field in FsTab).
Making yaird the only[1] tool refusing to parse such line doesn't seem a
nice goal.

[1]: mount and gkrellm both work :) sorry, don't have tested more of
them. Oh, also `mount -o '' /dev/hda5 /mnt/tmp0` works.

That's all.
It's just a suggestion, if you don't feel is't worth implementing just
close this bug (this is specifically related to 3-fields fstab lines).
