# modprobe vesafb
Device 'vesafb0' does not have a release() function, it is broken and must be fixed.

# modprobe -r vesafb

inserting radeonfb after unloading broken vesafb causes fallback to textmode,
all text dissappears, only cursor is visible

BTW: vesafb is loaded at boot by initrd, because of
     /lib/modules/2.6.8-1-k7/initrd/vesafb.ko

vesafb is no longer a module, so this problem is resolved
(though some others have been created).
