Help neede for setting Hardware Raid1

Hi All,

I am setting up mysql server on hardware raid level 1 ( Mirror) . I am
able to install the base with one primery and swap as logical on 72,4
GB Hard disk.

Below are my details:

Kernel 2.6.8 i386
Server configuration : HP ML 150 G2
HDD : 72.8 GB
Filesystem : ReiserFS
Raid Controller : Adaptec

If i make 2 primary partion then during base installation i am getting
error aacraid failed. if i do one primary and rest logical i am able to
install. But 
when i try to install Desktop Environment during installation i am getting following error message .

aacraid:Fail over , Raid de-graded.

My need it to install GUI for mysql front end administration.

Help is neede.
