Hmmm, I wrote that a long time ago. Probably a dozen years ago, since I
wrote plip in 1992 or 1993 and I left the IDA in early 1994.
I'll see if I can dig up some old backups. I likely wrote this in a mail
message, or perhaps the original text can be found in an old kernel
version.
