Bug#307909: kernel-image-2.6.11-1-686: cpufreq broken for Pentium M

Package: kernel-image-2.6.11-1-686
Version: 2.6.11-3
Severity: normal

-- System Information:
Debian Release: 3.1
  APT prefers testing
APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (400, 'unstable')
Architecture: i386 (i686)
Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-1-686
Locale: LANG=de_DE, LC_CTYPE=de_DE (charmap=ISO-8859-1)

Versions of packages kernel-image-2.6.11-1-686 depends on:
ii coreutils [fileutils] 5.2.1-2 The GNU core utilities
ii initrd-tools 0.1.78 tools to create initrd image for p
ii module-init-tools 3.2-pre1-2 tools for managing Linux kernel mo

-- no debconf information
The cpu frequency scailing does not work on the Toshiba Satellite M30-261 because the available frequencies for
the Pentium M is only 600 MHz. The frequency range goes from 600 up to 1500 MHz.

Output from /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scailing_available_frequencies

600000

I tried various options from the kernel. The kernel parameters CONFIG_X86_SPEEDSTEP_CENTRINO_ACPI = yes,
CONFIG_X86_SPEEDSTEP_CENTRINO_TABLE = yes and also compiling them as a module and instering with `modprobe'
give not the expecting results.
The kernel 2.6.8-2-686 works correct. And with the different governors the frequency of the cpu can be changed.
The neccessary moduls are loaded correct.
