Bug#307703: kernel-image-2.6.8-powerpc: Hang at the initrd stage - never finish boot

Justification: breaks the whole system


the kernel boot, load the initrd and hang with the following messages

drivers/usb/input/hid-core.c: usb-submit-urb(ctrl) failed
     ohci1394: already loaded
     uninorth-agp: already loaded
     sungem: already loaded
   pci [success]
   usb

at that point, the keyboard and mouse are dead.

Hardware is a G4 Cube with Cinema Display, stock Apple Keyboard plugged
in the cube, logitech wireless mouse.
