well i guess it's proably an bug in raidstart?

or is mkinitrd than calling the raidstart with wrong arguments?

i've gone today to abit too much bugreports,
care to tell me which package raidstart is from?

anyway poking around with devfsd and devfs is not recommended,
they'll be removed soon.

btw udev is a much nicer toy.
sorry about the late reply but initrd-tools hasn't had too much care
lately as it will also be replaced by initramfs.
