I'm beginning to think it's udev which made the system crash. Last weekend
I installed udev just to become familiar with it. I did not make any
adjustements to device name rules or anything. After the crashes that I
reported I removed udev (wajig purge udev) my system has been stable
again. Also, before udev installation my system has been running
extremely well.

So, I don't know yet how to reproduce problem. I don't know if it's udev
or not but I cound try to install it again and see what happens.

I'll try newer kernel later since unfortunately I'm very busy with other
things at the moment.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Sure. It says says this: (udev not installed)
