Comments/Problems:
The initial boot (to finish the installation) fails with a kernel panic.
I think it's megaraid driver module which isn't loaded correctly.

Here is the output of the kernel shortened to the relevant part:

....

Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.SCSI subsystem driver Revision:

I already reported this together with another bug (#276379) which was
fixed by Joshua Kwan <joshk@triplehelix.org>. He also wrote this:

It also happens with a Dell PowerEdge 2850 which has the same
controller.

        Hi,

Yesterday, I successfully installed a PowerEdge 1850 server with
megaraid2 (the same type of machine I described in #299055) with Debian
 Installer RC 3.

This was to be expected as I couldn't reproduce the initrd problems I
had in #299055 when I tried to debug it (something like 10 days ago).

 Reporters of bugs #278887, #282109, #282793, #284230, and #287019:
please try with a newer initrd-tools or debian-installer or report any
remaining problems I might have overseen!

   Regards,
