Discussion on IRC about fixing this for release:
<vorlon> joeyh: we have non-security-related RC bugs in the sparc kernel
that aren't fixed in kernel-image-2.6.8-sparc 2.6.8-6. Is
rebuilding d-i for a sparc update only better or worse than
rebuilding for everything? (Can we do that as a binNMU of d-i?)
<vorlon> the one I'm talking about is 288180
* joeyh notes that this will be significantly easier to do after a freeze,
when I can know that we have full control over what things have changed
<vorlon> kernels are all effectively frozen now anyway, fwiw
<fjp> Including the kernel configs.
<joeyh> yes, but everything else
<vorlon> yes, well. :)
<vorlon> so you'd like to let this one sit until we've frozen?
<joeyh> if say, nothing that breaks d-i happens to get into testing by
accident, then yes, we can binnmu d-i for sparc, rebuild cds and
qual it, I'd not imagine more than a day's work
