For future reference, if you experience a kernel-specific problem in 
Device-Mapper or any of its modules, you can send an email to 
dm-devel@redhat.com. You can also send reports to evms-devel@lists.sf.net, 
especially if the problem relates to EVMS.

Did this system crash occur again? Or was it a one-time failure?
