ok, thanks for your quick feedback as your initial binary search.
as it happened somewhere between 2.6.5 and 2.6.6.
a binary search would be needed to narrow it down,
so 2.6.6-rc1 should be tested, if it works 2.6.6-rc2
if not narrow it down to which bk the bad change happened.
do you have a .config specific to your machine that we could
more easily build vanilla sources with?
i'll try to provide the corresponding kernel-images.
