At 2 day intervals the system crashes. Most of the time kswapd exits. 
Swap is done on scsi disk. Data is on ide disks. 1 gb memory. 
java/tomcat + java/netbeans + mozilla + Vmware running.
Several elevator options tried (deadline/cfq/as).

anyway your kernel is tainted,
the Debian kernel team doesn't support binary modules
nor does upstream
